The 18th Edition course starts from July 2018 with LCTVE. The 18th edition is the latest for wiring regulations in the UK. The course is aimed primarily at electricians and those carrying domestic installations. However allied practitioners seeking to understand IEE wiring Regulations can take this course. Examples of allied practitioners such as: designers, electrical engineers, consultants, surveyors and contracts managers.
Every installation from January 2019 must be designed in accordance with the 18th Edition wiring regulations. Even if you already completed a Level 3 NVQ, you still need to prove that you are up to date with the Wiring Regulations. Also anyone looking to register with the new ECS Check system or other competent person scheme will need the latest Wiring Regulation qualification.

You will take a 2 hour online multiple choice exam on the third day of this course. You will be able to take your blue 18th Edition Regulations book (BS 7671) into the examinations.
